This product fit both seats in my old '92 custom cruiser station wagon and my new PT cruiser. My dog has sharp nails that grow quickly. She weighs about 70lb. The cover holds up, no puntures, water proof, and eazy to put in and remove so you can shake it out to remove hair from the cover. My only wish is that it wasn't so smooth on the seat part as when she is excited she slips around, I do use the seat belt harnes with it so I don't fear for her safty, I just think she would be more comfortable with some strips sewn on the seat part. This product is a great value! My dog loves it and it is extremely easy to take on and off my passenger seat (less than a minute). I would highly recommend this product to anyone who lets their pet travel in the car with them. It traps dirt and excess hair.

This classic car seat cover for dog fit the back seats of most vehicles and feature seat belt slots for use with a car harness. Easily protect cars back seat from dirt, scratches, stains and hair with these classic car seat covers. Sized to fit most vehicles. Covers come in black color and have adjustable nylon straps on the top and bottom. It feature two seat belt slots for use with a car harness. Place cover in the back of car. The end marked "t" on the back should cover the top of the seat. The end marked "b" should cover the bottom. Fit the elastic straps on each corner of the cover over the corners of the seat. To attach the cover to the top of the seat, hook the elastic straps together and loop them around the headrests. The ties can be attached to the headrests or to bars behind the seat for additional support. To attach cover to the bottom of the seat, hook elastic straps around the metal bars that run under the seat. The ties can also be attached to the bars underneath the seat for additional support. If using a safety harness with a seatbelt attachment, thread the seatbelt through the hole in the cover. Made of polyester. Measures 55-inch length by 42-inch width.

I originally bought this because of my puppy not being very comfortable when i occasionally have to drive long distances.it arrived in about a week or so. and I put it in my car,there are adjustable straps to hook over seats and covers the back seat of my 07 camryall the way to the floor. I t waterproof because right after i put it in i had to drive a good distance and my dog vomited in my car it held it together.....and i think it may be better to wipe it down first as opposed to constantly throwing it in a washing machine.....although it can be done...i think overtime it will affect the integrity of the seat cover

I hava a hairy lab that loves riding. I had used blankets but when I saw this, I thought it would be better since I could attach it to the rear headrests. The item is sturdy but will not remain attached to the headrest. Consequently, I had to double it and just use it for the seat.

This product is thin and cheaply made, I would not recommend it to anyone. I have 2 lab mixes who in the 20 minutes it took us to get to where we were going had it all wadded up and not covering the seat at all. I finally ended up putting it under a better cover that I bought.

why do pet stores not carry this and other useful dog/car products? this is a great replacement for my beach towel that i've been using as a seat cover. my dog is primarily my only passenger, but i don't see removal and installation of this to be too much of a hassle. my only complaint is that it's slippery and my dog slips around while sitting or standing up and he's a large dog. if you have small dogs or an elderly dog with arthritis, i don't recommend this product due to possible slipping/falling during turns and breaking. numerous times my dog has slid forward and headbutted me while breaking. i now have a barrier to prevent that.

I did not have a problem with the solvent smells that others have described, and I'm pretty sensitive to those kinds of smells. I have a Honda CR-V and it fit very well. Easy to put in and easy to take out. The seatbelts fit through slats, so you don't need to take it out when the kids go in (in fact, it protects from kid spills too!)
I think it's a pretty great product. Ugly color! ;)

I bought this to protect the seat of our new Prius from our 2-year-old, and so far so good! It covers just about the whole seat, stays in place, and resists spills. The only drawback is that you cannot use the middle seatbelt while the cover is in place. Not that big a deal for our needs, because the car seat is one one side and it doesn't really leave enough room for two more people to sit back there anyway.
